One of the hardest things to do from a fleshly perspective, is to get saved. The main reason being is, that man has to give up his or her fleshly lust and sinful ways. The Lord Jesus Christ never said that getting saved was as easy as 1-2-3. In the Bible, the Lord teaches us that it is impossible to enter His Kingdom, unless we are born again.
In John 3:6 the Lord Jesus said, “I tell you the truth, no one can see the Kingdom of God unless he is born again” How can a man be born again when he is old Nicodemus asked. “ Surely he can not enter a second time into his mothers womb to be born!” Jesus answered,
“ I tell you the truth, no one can enter the Kingdom of God unless he is born of water and the Spirit.” Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit You should not be surprised at my saying, you must be born again.
The water Jesus is referring to, is the living water of life that is eternal through our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. The spirit the Lord is talking about, is His Holy Spirit that comes to dwell in us when we are born again.
So my friends as the Bible teaches us, we all have a choice, and that choice is clear and decisive. In Matthew 7:13-14 The Lord said, Enter through the narrow gate, for wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.
AT THIS TIME, ARE YOU READY TO BE SAVED ?
Here are the steps necessary to take, if you are ready to be saved.
- You must believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and that He came down from Heaven and He suffered and died for our sins.
- You must believe that there are 3 God’s in one, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
- You must be sincerely sorry for all your sins.
- You must be ready for God to forgive all your sins. Sins of the past, sins of the present, and any future sins that you commit.
- You must come to the end of your flesh and this world, and be ready to ask God to be your way, your truth and your life.
Once you understand these fundamentals, the next step is to go some where quiet and get on your knees and pray the prayer of salvation.
PRAY THIS PRAYER FROM YOUR HEART
Dear God, I know that I am a sinner. I believe that Jesus Christ, Your Son, died on the cross for my sin and rose from the dead to be my Lord. God I now repent of my sin and personally invite Jesus into my life. Thank you, Jesus, for giving me the free gift of eternal life.
I promise to live for You as You reveal Yourself to me through Your Word, the Bible. In Jesus name, I pray. Amen.
IF YOU HAVE JUST SINCERELY COMPLETED THIS PRAYER, CONGRATULATIONS, WELCOME TO GOD’S FAMILY!
